Tutorial

This is a simple tutorial to demonstrate how an Event is started and controlled during an event.  The tutorial provides some basic pointers about how to setup the program when it is started for the first time and a show demonstration about how to control a small event.

The tutorial covers the following topics:

  1. Starting the Program
  2. Modifying program Options
  3. Selecting a Class Definition File
  4. Creating an Event
  5. Registering Entrants
  6. Starting the Timer interface
  7. Timer Control
  8. Staging cars
  9. Timing and Penalty Control
  10. Event Completion

Starting the program

Below is the way the program will look when it is loaded.  There are no active Event, Membership, or Class definitions loaded at this time.  Before we begin to build an event, we will set a few program settings to customize the installation.  Those include some basic preferences and generic settings that should be set the first time you execute the program.
