Club:

Season membership rule:  Membership is optional for $40.  Membership makes a person qualified for season awards if they meet eligibility requirements.  Membership also makes a person eligible for the season ending Thank You Event if you attended at least 1 season event that year.

Season championship eligibility:  Minimum number of events to accumulate points in the same class for season championship:  "Half of the season events + 1."

Minimum Competition rule:  A class must have a minimum of 3 qualifying participants to be eligible for season awards.

Season Points calculation method:  Season points are awarded to each participant by applying the following formula:  100 - [250 x (Time - Time #1) / Time #1.   A minimum points value of 20 will be awarded to anyone receiving less than 20 points by the formula.

Dropped events:  Each season, members will be allowed to drop 4 events when competing for a class championship.  A missed event counts as a drop.  If a member misses less than 4 events, their lowest points events will be dropped up to the 4 total drops.

Overall PAX and RAW championship info:  The overall PAX and RAW championships will be awarded to the highest points earners in each category.  There are no drops available for either of these championship awards.

Event cancellation rule:  If a season points event is cancelled for any reason, the total number of events will be adjusted, but the total number of drops will remain unchanged.

Tire Rule:  The SSSCC will follow the current year SCCA tire treadware requirements and exclusion list for each effected class.  Participants in the challenge class are exempt from any tire rule unless deemed a safety risk during tech or safety inspection.

Event Day Schedule:  All race events will follow this schedule (unless a delay is announced via facebook or email)

7:00 AM - Gates open

7:15 AM - Registration and Tech Inspection open

8:15 AM - Registration and Tech Inspection close

8:15 AM - Guided course walk begins

8:45 AM - Mandatory Drivers Meeting (Racing immediately follows)

There will be a lunch break, but there will not be a lunch vendor on site.

The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events.  These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules.   NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND OR REGULATIONS.  They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official.

The club officers shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in their opinion does not alter the minimum acceptable requirements.  NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS.  Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officers. Their decision is final.
