AXWare TS - Autocrossing Timing, Scoring and Event Management

AXWareTS supports various style of events including: Autocrossing, time trails and single lane ET, and other similar style of events. It is customizable to meet the explicit needs of your club or organization and offers various modules for additional features.

  • BMWCCA, PCA, and other specialty clubs
  • Easily tuned for custom events.

There are two main versions of the software: PRO and BASIC.

The multi-tiered approach to the AXWare products allows you to tailor the product specifically to your requirements. The activation of key features will depend on the version and modules that were purchased. A basic summary of the functionality differences is listed below:

  1. Pro Version - an extendable version of the product that allows you to pick from several Interface modules that extend the functionality of the system. The modules consist of:
    1. Extendable Modules:
      • Membership Control (required for points control).
        • NCCC Points Extension Module.
      • Bar Code support (easing Registration and Staging).
      • Network Support - allows the capability to control the event via several client interfaces:
      • Session Mode Control module. This modules allows you to run several sessions per event with a specified number of runs in each.  Timing and results are based and controlled on a Session per session basis with overall results based on the best time from each session.  You can selectively average or sum the best times.
    2. Extended Column Support (allows configuration of optional data columns).
    3. Allows configuration for any supported timer.
    4. Future growth...via new modules.

  2. Basic Version- entry level Timing and Scoring functionality.
    • Provides fundamental timing and scoring control.
    • Allow configuration for any supported timer.
    • Provides simple timing configurations only. Basic single lane control (which includes Autocrossing, Single Lane Timers etc).
    • Does Not provide: Membership control, extended column support, Bar Code support, Networking support, extended timing configurations, advanced data control functionality.

AXWare Systems Online Race Management

To help manage your club, event data, registrations and hosting results, we offer AXWare Systems Online Race Management (AXWare ORM) . AXWareTS and  AXWare ORM are a highly integrated solution that provides ease of use and is customizable to your club's needs.  This solution provides a Club Centric view (as compared to a simple online registration facility) that gives you full control of your membership, events (including meetings, and various other event types) and of course online registration.  Tuned for Solo style events, it provides flexible event setup and control, payment methods, membership methods, and much more.

By far the greatest benefit of AXWare ORM is it's ease of integration with AXWareTS. Just button clicks away from downloading registrations, uploading results and providing real-time Live Timing.

Features (not inclusive...)
Automatic Timer Control.  Data is accepted from Timers and automatically matched up with a staged car. Once the timing data is received the results are updated real-time to provide immediate standings.
Provides optional manual Timing mode.
Timer functions for trigger management, including Ignore the start and finish signals separately. (respective to the Timer).
Automatic update of standings when penalties are entered or modified.
Import features for improving registration speed an accuracy.

Pax Class Heat Control - extended Heat Control allows entries in a Pax Class to run with their base classes. Reduces the need to control large Pax classes as a self contained class and impacting both Run and Work heats.

Custom Class Definition support including Pax factor control.
Bumping Class support, allowing entries to be combined into alternate classes due to attendance or competition requirements.
Car Numbers may be Unique across all cars or within each class.
Allows car numbers in any class to range from 1-999 (including paxed classes) when not in Unique Car Number mode.
Supports Unique Car Numbers for all cars (across all classes) providing respective  Registration and Staging grid control.
Extended Car Numbers support to include car numbers with 'A', 'B',..., 'Z' designations for dual driver entries.
Generates HTML , text file and printed versions of all reports.
Reports - Provides optional name scrambling for protecting entries for published reports.
Print Templates - allow you to customize reports with the data columns you want to see. 
Announcer Window for real time announcer display - list cars on deck, history and optional standings per class

Number of runs per entrant is not limited but is logically set to a limit of 20.

Print Time-slips automatically, using devoted Receipt or label printers.
Provides 2 day event control (sums fastest time from each day) for SCCA style events

Membership Module

Network Module

  • Provides control of an event using several computers
  • Timing Control Server - central PC for timing and has the timing gear connected to it.
  • Registration Clients (I & II) - used as additional registration computers.
  • Announcer Clients (I & II) - provides announcer style functionality for events. Allows the user to view and access data without interfering with the Timing Server.
  • Audit Client - provides explicit client that is devoted to managing the Staging data for audit purposes.
  • AXWareStaging Android App - provides staging similarly to a Bar Code Scanner but with visual interfaces via our Android App.
  • Penalty Manager - this client currently provides Penalty Management using direct input from corner stations using our Android AXWareTS Corner applications with WIFI support, or enter penalties manually. 

Bar Code Module

  • providing control for Registration, Staging and various printing functionality. Sheet fed, and dedicated label printers are both supported.
  • Staging Mode, scanned labels will automatically stage an entrant. The Timing person is free to handle penalties and other timing duties.
  • Registration Mode, entries that are scanned and found in the Registration list are automatically Registered for the event.
  • Membership List, the scanning provides a quick search capability.
  • Printing capabilities for devoted Bar Code printers as well as normal sheet feed styles is supported. Labels are generated to support a 1x2"-3" label. This provides generic support for continuous feed printers (devoted label printers), as well as sheet fed Inkjets and DeskJet's.

  • Provides various methods of uploading data for viewing by your participants

  • Session Mode Control allows running event that consist of several run groups, each consisting of a specific number of runs.  Timing and runs are control on a per session basis and overall results are based on performance in all sessions using the best times in each.

Our facility provides Club centric web tools for managing your Club Membership, Events, online registrations, various event types, 1 or 2 day events, entry fee options, hosting results, live timing and much much more. 

Not a generic online registration but a tuned and effective system providing your club and your club Admins the control they need to get their work done.

AXWare ORM and AXWareTS provide a level integration that helps you manage you data and reduce the time it takes to handle your data. Provides 100% data consistency between your events and online presence. 

NCCC Version Options

 The same optional PRO Modules may be used for the NCCC version of the product. 

  • Provides Event control that supports the NCCC style of Events (multiple races per day run over the course of 2 days).
  • Provides unique numbers within the men's and lady's classes individually, thus supporting the NCCC number requirements for awarded positions.
  • Staging is controlled by unique car numbers and provides quick driver selections.  For ladies entries append an "L" to the car number to select the appropriate entry.  For open classes, enter the car number will only. Ex: "5L" represents a ladies car, # 5.

NCCC Extended Points Module

This optional PRO module provides extended points control base on NCCC Requirements and requires the Membership Module :

  • Provides control of Club Points including, Travel, Work and Race points.

  • Automated assigned of NCCC Race Points (uses the Points Setup functionality)

    automated Group FTD and OFTD points assignment

  • Consolidated Points report.

  • Additional Event Settings to allow configuration of Chair and Governor positions.

  • Accumulate points for an entire NCCC Race weekend. Each race can be used to accumulate respective points and the Points totals generated from the Membership File.
